Thessaloniki International Fair is the biggest and most glamorous exhibition organized in Greece, with a long history starting in 1926 and continuously evolving by adjusting to today’s needs, in terms of international trade and global economy. Last year, T.I.F. was proud to host exhibitors from 39 countries, while more than 250.000 people visited the Fair. In a continuous effort to provide better service and business opportunities, HELEXPO is planning to enhance the 2009 event, with a core theme of world-wide concern. Invest In …Globally! The main concept of the 74th T.I.F. is “Invest In…”. The Global Exchange Sector, the Expopartenariat and the Business Forum are dedicated to the investment possibilities globally. National Export Promotion Organizations / Authorities and National Investment Agencies and Organizations of many countries around the globe, will have the chance to exploit the opportunity of promoting investments in the relevant countries or vice versa. Private Companies and State Authorities may take advantage of the of the considerable number of visitors of T.I.F. from Greece and the broader S.E. European region, in order to present the investments possibilities of their countries, while getting together with officials, business people, investors, fund raisers, bankers, developers and decision makers from all over the world, exchanging information, expertise and experience. Hosted buyers scheme

Helexpo is running a hosted buyers scheme, whereas selected buyers will be offered two nights accommodation at a 5 stars hotel in Thessaloniki. In order to be eligible for the hosted buyers program, it is a prerequisite to be pre-registered at www.expopartenariat.gr, complete the relevant forms the latest by Friday 5 June 2009 and participate in the pre-scheduled meetings with the exhibitors program, Expopartenariat.
